Jimbilly Posted January 7 Posted January 7 what's not to like? Dang! Yamaha's super-shredder! 16 Quote
ARM OF HAMER Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Yamaha makes a great guitar and that is one of them. I owned several of the Pacifica 1421 and 1412 guitars. I would have kept them if they were hardtails.............. not much of a trem guy here. Rich Lasner wanted to make those guitars available in hardtail versions, but Yamaha wouldn't go along with it. geoff_hartwell Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Wasn’t there a micro adjustment under the locking nut? I remember being totally mesmerized by a guitar mag ad for the high end Pacifica with the Z inlays… Quote

Under those locking nut Allen cap screws are adjustment screws to set nut height. Edited January 12 by ARM OF HAMER 1 Quote
Jimbilly Posted January 13 Author Posted January 13 mine seems to be a more standard screw attached nut, but it does look like there's a shim that could be replaced. 1 Quote
