  1. Yeah! I see that now, like I said pretty cool guitar! You know I have seen one of these all maple body Chappie Elites......................a 1979, "Vintage and Rare" had one that was a set neck. No idea what a "Good" price on these are or what this one sold for. Hamer Chaparral Elite 1979 Natural Guitar For Sale GuitarPoint (vintageandrare.com)
  2. Musty case smell?...........................rent an OZONE machine and put the guitars case in a small room for 24 hrs. GONE!
  3. You don't see many of these up here in my neck of the woods, even at guitar shows I go to here in Minnesota. While you do see some "Hamer Guitars" they are always imports, I have never seen a USA model for sale here at any of those shows. Cool guitar that looks to be in nice condition. No idea about the pricing as I have no idea about market value with these. No affiliation to the guitar. Hamer Chapparal Elite quilt maple, '91 - musical instruments - by owner - sale - craigslist
  4. Yes!.......................................................
  5. That IS beautiful! Congrats! Who could resist? I doubt very much anyone here could.
  6. Been there so many times through the years if it could my car would drive me there by itself. I also have spent a lot of $$$$ at that place, Dave always treated me right with everything. I remember going to his old shop the first time .....................just a little hole in the wall store with mostly his personal guitars..................old Strats and Teles..............that were still at that time thousands of $$$$$. Cool place for sure!
  7. Just got back from vacationing for 8 days in Los Cabos, Mexico. A wonderful area and a beautiful resort that we stayed at. I saw a shop that had a bunch of beautiful "Handmade" guitars in a neighboring town. Amazing woods and workmanship on all of them and they prices were very, very reasonable. But did I bite?????? no sir! I held strong to no new guitars. But I'm very happy to be back home and playing the one I have.🙂
  8. A great guitar will always be worth good $$$ to a guitarist that wants it. How much depends on what the buyer is willing to pay and the market and favorable conditions that make it possible to buy it. I have a snow blower that is literally in like new condition for sale right now and living in southern Minnesota where there is no snow right now [And there hasn't been for quite some time] is a hard sell even at half the original price. It is a cool guitar?........................yes, it is! But at this price? probably not.
  9. I would use that for my special guitar picks. I would have to modify it a bit. Decreasing the value, I'm sure.😉
  10. That $$$$$ is pretty ridiculous to say the least .......................I would like to have that case minus the pickups and NOT for 1k.
  11. Yep that is how I remember them....................I'm sure Wayne is STILL Kicking Out The Jams. RIP.
  12. The Pearce yes, It is a great Amp...................solid oak cabinet it's weight is 80 lbs........................ but what a sound MAS!SIVE!
