  1. Not only a better guitar but a much better "Experience". But in saying that these Greeny's will all sell..................proving once again that there is a buyer for most everything. CRAZY!
  2. It's a great feeling to have a great guitar.👍
  3. I saw that one ......................there was a collector up in that Shakopee/Savage area who had a bunch of nice Hamer guitars Monaco's, Studios etc etc. wonder if it is the same guy. That is a really light fingerboard................maybe it's just the photo.................otherwise pretty darn cool.
  4. And who is the guitarist with the Hamer? Is that Jimmy Ryan?, tasty solo and the guitar sounds great.
  5. I worked as a machinist in my younger years and that is a work of skill and beauty!..........and talk about over engineering, WOW!
  6. From what I see that IS just a crack,I have certainly seen worse where the headstock is actually separated from the neck. That can be fixed and hidden by the right guy certainly someone like like Greg Paltzer or Jay Kolanda, both have taken some very damaged instruments and brought them back to life. Regarding shipping this guitar I once had a guitar shipped to me just like that although no where near that rareness or value. [a Yamaha RGX Custom] I was surprised that it was accepted by the USPS as it was just in a solid case no box with all the case latches working and closed with duct tape wrapped around the ends of the case and the USPS shipping label pasted on the case, the guitar made it to me just as shipped [Excellent condition BTW] , I couldn't believe it that the seller shipped it that way or that it wasn't damaged. I would have the cracked neck area repaired /refinished and leave the rest as is.
  7. That is so ridiculous I can't even believe someone actually did that and thought it was OK. I have not shipped any guitar in years now as it is crazy expensive, and all shippers are just so unreliable. REVERB and EBAY as far as selling anything are plagued with issues more than ever.
  8. I knew that would get a laugh from most, the Marauder/ Sonex......................how about some cool guitars? Well I included these as they were there and mentioned them in passing. Nothing I would ever own but there is a owner for every dog so........................
  9. Can't remember how to delete a posting it's been so long since I have done it................like years. HELP!
  10. Been a little bit since I have gone out to my local music store and I was surprised to see some of the guitars for sale now. A 79 Charles Hoffman acoustic, a 65 Gibson SJ acoustic, a 80 Gibson 335TD Stereo a 83 Gibson BB King Lucille", a 82 Dan Smith Strat, a 06 Fender American Deluxe Strat, a 95 Strat Plus, a 77 Fender Telecaster, 76 Gibson Marauder, 76 Gibson Sonex, there was a Gibson Les Paul ARTIST but that one sold. NONE of these are mine and I have no affiliation with them nor will I get any kind of kickbacks for mentioning them here. I'm in a smaller town with one music store so while none of these guitars are "Vintage" like I said I was surprised to see so many name guitars at a store that mainly sells new Ibanez and Yamaha guitars. I have my last 2 guitars so I won't be buying. If this violates any rules here I'll take down this posting.

  12. There are plenty of people here who own them...........................not many here that want to sell them. Which really says a lot about how good these guitars are, they are IMHO Hamer's best model of guitar and if you are lucky enough to score one you will understand why. Be patient and you will get one.
  13. Tell me about it, I have SO much stuff, Guitar Player magazines, Vintage Guitar magazines, Rolling Stone, tons of other also rans. And books all kinds of music books some pretty valuable A Galaxy Of Strats [An original edition] Records ,also some very valuable. I look at this stuff and think geez, many of these guys aren't even alive anymore, and I think most of the things are so dated back to a much different time and place.
  14. Beautiful Hamer for sure but..............................5K worth? NOPE! $200 shipping?, for that kind of coin shipping should be free. Price for that is about as realistic as this one.................and hey Jack is one of my favorite actors.1986 USA B.C. Rich Explorer Custom Dan Lawrence Graphic W/case | Reverb
  15. "There's only one"!.............................Which proves GOD really does exist. Posted 10 hours ago There's only one!
  16. And now................................ the guitarist who played it. VICK FLICK.
