NPD: Lovepedal Vibronaut

I've only messed with it into my IR-X direct to mixer/monitors. Wringing it out with drums and bass is for this weekend.

I was a bit taken back when I first plugged in. Not as much, "whoosh", as I was hoping for. Cracked open the backplate and adjusted the trim pots. Presto! The LED light pulses with the speed AND its brightness is determined by the trimpots. It sounds as good as any Univibe/Rotovibe that I've messed with and the Hi/Low controls really come in handy to EQ it properly. Like most Lovepedals, the Level control is your key to success, as it can provide a substantial boost if necessary. 

I'm impressed enough to replace the vintage TCElectronic Chorus/Vibe/Flanger on my small board with the Vibronaut. Looking forward to opening this up LOUD this weekend.

If I didn't enjoy the having a treadle on my vibe, I'd have one of these on both boards.

My Vibronaut landed monday which is a new speed record for delivery from Lovepedal.  Finally got around to trying it yesterday and straight out of the box it didn't do shit lol.  At full depth and speed I could barely hear the slightest bit of whoosh. I thought it was DOA - thanks to Rob for the post about the internal trim pots.  Now i just gotta wait for the mini-screwdriver set i ordered to show up.

I did sneak the Pickle Vibe back out of the 'for sale' box just to get a fix of whoosh with the new Foxy Tone Box.  Yeah, that's the sound.
