thecajunboy Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 What brought VH down IMO was the keyboards and Ed losing his mind. Sammy singing on the first 4 albums may very well have been just as cool. But you add keyboards, a Rockman Sterio Chorus tone and a bunch of sappy love songs and you get Van Hagar. yep. i remember dave leaving, i thought sammy would be an improvement(as i'd seen dave w/ his drunken "i forgot the fookin' words!!" live act a few times).it wasn't sammy that made VH suck, it was the newer pop-ish tunes. and ed's chorused puss-tone, ugghhhh. Damn! Looka dat! Not one, but two guys are hittin' the nail on the head.
