wyldbil Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Was flipping through a British guitar 'zine (Guitar And Bass) at work this evening and saw a small blurb about Hamers. Had a pic of the new Chinese Scarabs and another pic of a triple P-90 Monaco and, you guessed it, the Uber Vector. The text makes it sound like the UV is a stock model. Yeah, right! So Greg, do you take British Pounds in payment?
wyldbil Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 The price just went up higher, bucko. Heh. It's all just academic to me anyway...
Kilroy is all about... Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Yo, bcr- those english pounds are worth twice as much as our 'whored-out' federal reserve notes are worth. back in the day, pre-'72, our dollar was backed with gold, but now in order to fund the massive fiscal liabilities of the federal government and trade imbalances, the dollar was removed from the gold standard. those english pounds make that uber alles vector are cheap--relatively speaking, of course. that's a no-brainer on the currency exchange rationale. kilroy buys gold, shorts the dollar, and trades hamers.
