DavidE Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Ok, I'm buying that Custom Duotone Custom. Maybe the ultimate combination of features for my taste. Needs abalone.... but I digress. ;-)So, I'll offer up some tasty guitars from the collection for sale to make up for some of the outlay.AK3P90. Excellent condition Korina Artist with 3 P90s. Your standard natural golden finish and OHSC. The Aceburst is open to reasonable offers. The Zebra Graphic Sustain Block Special is up for grabs but only because of this purchase. It's killer. I prefer it to both Sunbursts I've owned. It just has that something and no skinny neck! I figure I'll offer it before I get attached to it.I have a nice '59 Burst Studio Custom that doesn't get played anymore. Has it's share of nicks, dings and dents and there is some significant fretwear under the g string (I think, it's been a while) up the neck from the original owner. It still played fine for me but it either needs a grind and polish or something. My luthier friend said it didn't need new frets, but you might disagree. I bought it from Paults who bought it from the original owner. I've had it several years and gigged with it for a while. Killer axe.Gibson Les Paul Studio. 1994. White with gold hardware. Ebony fingerboard. Full size trapezoid inlays. Pretty light weight for a Les Paul. Medium size neck. Gibson gig bag. This particular combination of features appears to be the desired combination on ebay and sells higher than ones with other colors, rosewood boards, different inlays etc....ESP 400 series tele that I got from TomTerrific. Nice 80's Japanese made tele with several mods by Tom. Mini grover tuners. ESP logo removed. EMG-Tele pickups for no noise but tele sound. Removable Hipshot B-Bender with Drop-D lever. Sunburst and doublebound body. Phase switch on control plate. Cool cool tele. Jack made some noise when I tried to plug it in. Needs touch up there.Parker Nitefly. 1st Edition. Made in the good ole USofA. Sunburst. S/S/H pickups. Parker gig bag. Neck feels like a strat, not like the neck on the Deluxe at all. Same composite fingerboard and stainless frets of the Deluxe. Not one of the new crappy imported models. This was an expensive and high quality product of Ken Parker. Piezo whammy.Email if interested.
