FS: Seymour Duncan Rail Pickups

These are from my Mirage I and they are old form factor rail pickups (Seymour Duncan changed the cover for these a year or so ago which also slightly changed the sound). Each pickup is black and in good functional and cosmetic shape. Also, each pickup includes springs and mounting screws.

1. Bridge Hot Rails: 5 inches lead $35 - shipped

2. Neck/Middle Vintage Rails: 9 inches lead - $35 shipped

3. Neck/Middle Vintage Rails: 10 inces lead - $35 shipped

I also have a Carvin Twinblade singlecoil-sized humbucker that is free to a good home. One of the leads from the base of the pickup came unsoldered so I had to solder it back on. I installed it afterwards and it works fine. It’s a great pickup if you want a thicker sound that’s still singlecoil-ish.

is that duncan rail pickup an old hot rail before they changed the shape..?

I am looking for the first production hotrail with the larger one piece

bobbin top and wider body

seymour changed the pickup not so long after it came out cause guys bitched they didnt fit cleanly into a regular stratgaur without some slight modifications.

I would think the hamer virts would have the same thing i am loking for.

Those neck/middle pickups .... are they somewhat noise-free?

Yes, they are humbucking singles voiced like vintage single coils. I have them in my daytona.

All the rail pickups are the old shape (Duncan only redesigned them in the past year or so I believe). At any rate, the SD pickups are long gone (I sold the whole set to a guy a couple days after posting the ad).
