kurtsstuff Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Don't need it..Has had the "mod" done to channel 2 . I got this from the Customer Service manager of boogie ..$950.00 shipped
Scottcrud Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 good price, so it's had the "Hollywood mod" done to it?
Scooter Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Hey Kurt, I don't know much about these amps, is it a 2 channel or 3 or ?? What is the mod you mention.
Scottcrud Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 they're two channel amps, clean and lead with a solo boost. If the mod is the Hollywood Boogie Mod then it gives the lead channel about 30% more gain.
kurtsstuff Posted October 31, 2006 Author Posted October 31, 2006 Yes...what Scott said...also known as the "FD Mod" since it has to do with the fluid drive channel (voicing)These are a 2 channel amp with 6 voicing options. I got this directly from Kris Dilbeck who is the customer service manager at Boogie and the mod was done at boogie .

kurtsstuff Posted November 1, 2006 Author Posted November 1, 2006 Kurt, Does this head have enough tubes in it? Is it another of your 2000 Watt bedroom amps? Just kiddin'! Ya know...this one only has 150 watts available now.....if it had 200...I'd be keepin it....hehe
Riffer Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Kurt, did you like the Mesa Stiletto? They seem to be selling fairly cheap lately. I'm considering....
kurtsstuff Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 Kurt, did you like the Mesa Stiletto? They seem to be selling fairly cheap lately. I'm considering....I like em....but find them to be kind of one dimensional and real easy to get sounding on the harsh side of EL34's world. Running a separate EQ helps alot and helps tame the upper mid harshness..Good amps all in all though
