Turdus Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 I have a Dukane IU460 carcass. All tubes are pulled. Power cord was cut when I got it. No idea what works, etc.Seems that some guys like to turn these into guitar amps. This one takes (4) 12ax7, (2) 12au7, (2) 6L6, and a 5U4.These seem to have little to no value, lol. If you want it, or you might need some parts. Let me know. No cost, but the shipping would be on you, as it has some weight to it.contact: Chris high_voltage@cox.net
Turdus Posted December 1, 2006 Author Posted December 1, 2006 It is yours most humble servant.....I will box it up, and ship it to your store early next week.
Michael_ Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Seems that some guys like to turn these into guitar amps. This one takes (4) 12ax7, (2) 12au7, (2) 6L6, and a 5U4.I have one of these (or some similar old dukane) that still has tubes and a power cord. I literally found it on the side of the road. I had no idea that they could be turned into guitar amps. How difficult would it be to make such a conversion?
Turdus Posted December 1, 2006 Author Posted December 1, 2006 I stumbled across this, when originally researching the amp:http://www.netads.com/~meo/Guitar/Amps/PA2Guitar/
savethematches Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 I've used on old Dukane as a guitar amp before. I ran an overdrive pedal into it, and it sounded like a damn freight train.
