BTMN Posted January 23, 2007 Author Posted January 23, 2007 That is Dan from Detroit. A 15 now almost 18 year old True Metalhead. His mom and dad brought him to Dean's Open House in Feb.'04. At the Jam the night before Dan played Highway To Hell with Gen of Gen and The GeniTortuers on vocals. It was very cool. Cant wait to see that guitar again. It has a sweet V cut to the neck profile like those REALLY old Strats and Dean's late '70's guitars. Just in case ya'll think I'm falling off the Hamer bandwagon in anyway, Mr. Fung's former '79 Sunburst that I recently got RIPS now that I've had the wiring redone to the Archtop/Standard wiring diagram from the wiring section here at the HFC. I mean it is really an honor to add one of those Sunbursts to my lot that gets abuse by this meager player. I know I usually prefer Natural tops but the Sunburst on it matches my '79 dot neck Standard real well. That will further keep the Standard out of Mr. HamStd's hands too. WOOOHOO!!! Customer service. HA!

Did I miss any?Looks like it's making its way back to my house. It's getting closer, anyway...
BadJaxx Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 wow....this one's been around quite a bit.....that gives me an idea for a new name....the Slut.... first Rios i've had but figured they were probably Texas/BBQ cuz those are the only Rio buckers i hear about...neck pup reminds me of a Pearly Gates neck... well, you'll get to play with the Slut again as i'm bringing her on Saturday...

BTMN Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 I protest!!!! That guitar is WAY to sweet to be a slut, EVER. Flash Jones is a better moniker due to the BEAUTIFULLY flamed Mahogany and it seems to get the "travelin' Jones" every now and then. The two stops in Florida were just to get polished up and refreshed I'm sure. It loved my 10 watt Brian May Vox and the Mesa 4x12 I have.
