Scooter Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I'm offering this 1982 Sustain Block Vector in up for trade. The blue burst color is fairly rare I think. It's mostly original, only the truss rod cover and strap buttons are not. The knobs might be replacements as well. The electronics are all original, including the Dimarzios and the Hamer-branded pots. No breaks or repairs, but there is a ton of checking. None of the wood is cracked, just the finish. There's a really prominent finish crack on the back and some serious checking (to the point of flaking) on the headstock. There's also a good amount of chips and dings, most notably on the strap-side wing tip. Players grade all the way. The neck is straight and there is minimal fret wear. The neck carve is pretty substantial. Thicker than the Special I had from this era. No case. ***Click here for a bunch of detailed pics*** I'm not sure what I want to trade for, but I do have a soft spot for fat necks, Floyd Roses, ESP's, Hamers, MIJ Les Pauls, anything Korina, Egnater preamp modules and high gain amps. Or ??? PM me or email me direct if you wanna do some horse trading! -Don skuder@execpc.com
Scooter Posted January 27, 2007 Author Posted January 27, 2007 No love for the Vector? LOL! Oh well, look for it on eBay soon.
Scooter Posted January 27, 2007 Author Posted January 27, 2007 how many American dollars for her?I really have no clue what it might be worth (in American Dollars). I mean, it's rare and cool, but it's also not in collector shape. That's why I was looking for a trade. I guess if nobody wants to do some tradin' I'll have to entertain offers. Or eBay.
Dumo Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 The Vintage guitar book says $700-$1,000. My guess, no case but cool color and in VG+ condition? $750.
