hardheartedbill Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 selling for a friend, a really clean 03 artist korina w/ P-90's! the only thing the buyer should know is that the back of the neck has been micromeshed just a hair, I can buff it out to shine if it means the sale but anyone could do it and the micro meshed feel it really very nice. it's 100% reversable so have no worries, scads of HFC and Gear Page refrences, $950 plus shipping , PM for more pics
RedLizard Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 micromeshed? Micromesh is an aviation grade polishing cloth. They literally use it to polish windows and other delicate surfaces on planes. My set goes from something like 1500 grit (if you can call it that) to 12000. Players use the lower grits to take a little of the shine/gloss off the neck and it makes it play and feel much smoother. As the seller indicated, he can always use the higher grits to polish it back up to a mirror-like shine. 220 grit is pretty smooth to the touch. 12000 is insanely smooth.
