Devnor Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Guitar Resurrection has got some very nice stuff. I love the Omni Hotel...the swimming pool is stainless steel and plenty of eye candy up there (usually).Have fun!
BadJaxx Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 also...Ray Hennig's Heart of Texas Music....S. Lamar St...where SRV bought his #1Musicmaker's...S. Lamar about 5 blocks from Hennig's...Erlewine Guitars on Burnet Rd...Austin Vintage Guitars apparently moved from S. Congress to S. Lamar...
Scottcrud Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Austin Vintage is two doors down from Ray Hennigs, look at the front of Rays shop and walk left to the end of the building, turn right and there's austin Vintage plus the custom shop next door. Also less than a block south of Ray Hennigs on South Lamar is South Austin Music, which is pretty cool, it's next to the Saxon Pub.What's your band called? I'll probably come out and meet you. You know Billy Milano from MOD/SOD hangs out there and tends bar on occasion.

santellavision Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 The Speakeasy seemed like a cool place. I shot a TV commercial there with Austin's own W.C Clark.http://www.santellaproductions.com/movies/BlueCross30.mov
