Turdus Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 USA Standard Balladeer, model 1861. Probably 4 years old. Excellent condition. Shallow bowl. The shallow bowl does not produce a mighty tone unplugged, but plugged in, this sounds huge. I'd keep it, but just picked up another high dollar Ovation, so I no longer need it. OP30 preamp, with built in tuner. Great as a backup, or even main guitar. I played a 3 set acoustic gig with it, and loved it.Comes with the hard shell case. These go for $829 at MF.$425 shipped (US 48) will have pics tomorrow.PS: color is black
DavidE Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 OVations are great gigging guitars. Tough as nails, easy to play, built in tuners and good preamps, I'll leave the high dolla axes at home.
Turdus Posted April 30, 2007 Author Posted April 30, 2007 CB:I sent you an email earlier...CMCM.. thanks for calling that to my attention. The Kids have taken over my PC that I use for email. I'll kick them off in a bit, and look for the email. Good thing I have a backup, yet very slow, machine for browsing.
Turdus Posted April 30, 2007 Author Posted April 30, 2007 try posting it on ovationfanclub.comThanks Al! I've still got the 2005 Collector's. Great guitar. Just picked up something called an "N778". Looks like a Custom Elite, but apparently only made for the Japanese market. I'll post some questions over on the Ovation FC.
Turdus Posted May 5, 2007 Author Posted May 5, 2007 One more time here, before Ovation Fan Club, or Ebay.....$399 shipped. I've bought a lot of stuff recently, and would like to move this.
