BadgerDave Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Newport Pro Custom, spruce top, ruby finish, CROWNS!, ebony board, excellent+ condition, no visible fret wear, no dings, nicks, chips, Hameritis or other wear other than a few very light pick swirls. OHSC included. The top photo shows the guitar in its current state. I added WCR DARKBURST pickups, cream pickup rings, gold knobs, a trapeze tailpiece, ebony tuner buttons and a TonePros bridge. The pictured graphtech saddles have been removed because they caused the guitar to have a slight “pingy” overtone. They have been replaced with the orig. TonePros metal saddles. Changing the tailpiece required drilling two small holes near the endpin. These will be covered if the original unit is reinstalled. My new Newport P-90 makes this one expendable. I prefer it in its present “de-blinged” state, but I can restore it to the original configuration at the buyer’s option. Price: $1,500.00 with the WCRs as pictured in the first photo. All original hardware, (inc. Seth Lover pickups) will be included, Or $1,200.00 restored to stock condition as shown in the second photo. (I keep the WCRs and non OEM hardware). Shipping is $30.00 to the lower 48, actual cost elsewhere. Will ship to Canada, Europe, South America, etc. at actual cost (though I will not ship via USPS – only FedEx, UPS or possibly DHL). PayPal is OK, buyer adds 3%. The only trades I am interested in are a Victoria 20112, Regal, Victoriette or “Champ” with a 12” speaker. PM or email to: dave.owenATgeDOTcom
