Teh Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Bought this from a friend at the beginning of the year, and with only a couple exceptions, has sat quietly in the corner under the cover. Somebody needs to buy this thing. Standard Blues Deluxe Reissue with 1-12", two channels (LOUD and F'ING LOUDER), the 40 watts of Class A is way too much for my needs. Tweed is in like new condition. Includes original channel select pedal and cable, cover, and OmniSonic volume attenuator to help reign in this beast when at home. Price -- $500 + $50 shipping to lower 48. No upcharge for PayPal. Will be happy to meet up in the greater Chicago area rather than ship. Let me know if you need pics and I'll shoot a couple for you. Thanks! EDIT: In case you're not familiar, here's the pic off the Fender site...
DavidE Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I'm guessing these are class AB, not class A, since they get 40 watts out of a pair of 6L6s.I had one of the originals and if the new ones are the same, they get a really nice sound out of the clean channel and the gain channel can be set up to be a decent lead channel with a pedal. Pretty cool amps!
billhart22 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Includes original channel select pedal and cable, cover, and OmniSonic volume attenuator to help reign in this beast when at home. Thanks!I use the Omnisonic attenuator also....the best $18 I have ever spent for my Hot Rod Deville.
BadJaxx Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 i have an original Blues Deluxe and love it....had it over 10 years now...i've gone thru several other amps but never considered selling my BD...has the deepest clean blues tone i've heard...loves Strats...
Caddie Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 couldja beat it up a little (aka; relic), drop the price a lot and I'l drive up from Naperville & pick it up?
Teh Posted May 10, 2007 Author Posted May 10, 2007 couldja beat it up a little (aka; relic), drop the price a lot and I'l drive up from Naperville & pick it up? How 'bout I drop the price to $475 and meet you half-way down Randall Rd. -- Say around Geneva or St. Charles -- And let you have the fun of doing the relic work yourself? You get a great amp at a great price, and I don't have to deal with the hassle of boxing it up and shipping it. Sounds like reason enough for the a little discount!!!
