jwhitcomb3 Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Time to say goodbye to a wonderful guitar. Here's the ebay auction for my Takamine F470SSCD. For years it has been my guitar for alternate tunings and recording second guitar parts (it blends really well with other guitars), but I no longer have the luxury of owning 4 acoustic guitars. I'd have loved to keep it, but couldn't part with the Lowden, Huss & Dalton or the Gurian, so it has to go.-Jonathan
Pieman Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 What do you mean by mini-jumbo? Shallower body? Smaller body but still as deep? I was playing my dreadnought yesterday and it feels uncomfortable under the crook of my right arm.

Takamine calls it the NEX:Scroll down to see body style diagramI've got a jumbo Lowden and find the large size makes it a bit fatiguing to play...but I love the sound. The NEX retains the signature sound of a jumbo (full, balanced but not boomy) with just a little less volume, as you'd expect.-Jonathan
