jerseydrew Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Up for sale is the best Nash Tele that I've ever owned. I've owned a bunch of Nash's. I thought I would never sell this but I'm bored and I'm gassing for a Lentz. Ok, where to begin? It's a heavy relic in Lake Placid Blue. It's double bound. When was the last time you saw a double bound Nash? I am the original owner. I bought it new at Rumbleseat in November of 2005. Here's what the hang tags says: Alder body. M/R, which stand for medium rounded "C" neck. Rio Grande Tall Boys. RS-6 is the serial number. Meaning it was the sixth Nash shipped to Rumbleseat. The Model is officially a TC-63. Included is the Nash case. My price is $1600 shipped in the 48 cont. states. USPS money orders or Paypal ok. If paying by Paypal, I will ONLY ship to a confirmed address. My ebay id is also jerseydrew. You could look me up, my feedback's pretty good. I realize that you could get a new Nash for $1600, but I highly doubt you'll get a good one like this. Plus when was the last time you saw a double bound custom in LPB? I will consider some kind of trade for a Lentz Here are a bunch of pics:

Plus when was the last time you saw a double bound custom in LPB?Indeed. Here's one on ebaY. Same color. Same price. But NOT double bound.I've found with Nash's that new or used doesn't really matter. You could probably get a new one for $1600, but if you wanted to resell it, you'd get your money back.If you waited a year, you'd still get your money back. They pretty much keep their value and hold steady.Anyway, with a relic, what's the point of getting New"?I'd rather get a used one and save the wait.
matchful Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Great looking guitar. Saw one similar to that at the Mesa Boogie store on Sunset blvd a month or so ago. But he wanted $1950 for it. I am drooling, but no money..
BadgerDave Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 $1,600.00 is a fair price for that guitar. I've had several Nash's and I've played several more. The Tele's are consistantly excellent. I've also noticed that the guitars made up to 2006 or so seem to be finished with more attention to detail than the more recent guitars, so the old/used ones may actually be worth more.
