santellavision Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 I think Budda's are very under-rated amps. I had a really cool lawsuit model Dual-Stage 30. It was basically two complete amps in one combo. 2x6L6's and 2xEL84's which could be footswitched between while playing. And to make it even more cool... You could also footswitch between 2 cabinets on the fly too. Very cool. But, they got sued by Mesa for patent violation and that was that.
kurtsstuff Posted August 20, 2007 Author Posted August 20, 2007 I agree with Ernie...Very underrated...

DavidE Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Check out Joe Bonamassa playin' the Budda Superdrive. The dude can play!http://buddatone.blogspot.com/2006/03/joe-...-guitarist.htmlOf course anything he plays through probably sounds great....I notice that Joe's amp has a switchable rectifier and is the 45, but it's awesome.I need to sell some stuff before I start buying more amps.Anyone need a really clean JSX?Red tolex Fender Prosonic?Vintage (silver trim) Fender Super Reverb?Ugly, but killer sounding non-master, 4 input, 50 watt Marshall?
kurtsstuff Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 What do those sound like? How many watts?80 watts...I get a Soldano type of vibe but better, Cleans are way better (Soldano's really don't have a clean...??) and the dirty side of things can show way more teeth depending on settings
