I knew he was a 'cool' guy from the HFC Appreciation days (boy, I miss those!), and he was already okay in my books playing Hamers through Dr Zs, but this is quite generous and unselfish. ArnieZ Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Rob,My pleasure!! I didn't send you 2 for the wow factor. Those Russian ef86's are very hit or miss and the ones I have, have not been tested. I didn't think it would be much help if you popped one in and it was NG. I have a few NOS ef86's plus the stock Russian that came in my amp. Now you can be on the lookout for a good NOS tube.ArnieZ
