FS: '58 Fender Tweed Deluxe

Up for grabs is my '58 tweed deluxe. Here's the scoop: output tranny is from a '74 Deluxe Reverb #606425, the upper back panel and handle are Rogers Amps repro's, and the speaker is an original cone '54 Jensen P12Q. All USA tubes and a 12' three prong cord. Sound great, like a good tweed deluxe should. $2150. shippes/paypaled to the CONUS. Email for extensive pics.

There's not a solid state amp made that sounds anything like a tube amp.

I hate to ask, but why a '74 Deluxe tranny and not something like a Mercury Magnetics?

I bought the amp with that tranny in it. The amp was also serviced in '74, as the power supply caps had '74 date codes. The caps in it now are newer because electrolytics should be changed every 15-20 yrs.
