Hi all,

Thought you'd like to know (or know might know someone who'd like to know) that my Steve Stevens I Custom 24-fret is up for sale on e-bay. You can see it at Steve Stevens I Custom for sale

It has the "Dark marbel??" finnish, an ebony fingerboard with crown inlays and the hardware includes one humbucker and two single coil pickups,a Floyd Rose locking trem (not bent) and an indervidual string locking nut. I was told by a collecter/bidder that came to see it that it's in excellent condition and one of the best he's seen for a long time. He said that I should add to my e-bay discription that it has a few lacqar cracks that are consitent with it's age, the neck is just about perfect and that there is no head stock stress damage at all..... Hope that all make sence.... I'm not an expert!! Anyway, hope this helps someone find this great guitar

Happy bidding and playing,

Very cool-a Steve Stevens 1 in iridescent! Too bad Stonge no longer collects those! I think that someone else here has taken up the mantle though while he collects all of the cool green Hamers though!

What would shipping to the US be? Are there are taxes or custom issues since the item is returning to its country of origin?

Hi luke

Shipping to the US from the Uk cost any where from roughly £43 GBP to £200 something GBP depeding on carrier and service. The best i have found so far is with the place called get gazell. They also do insurance for a standard £10 for any item worth up to £2000.

As far as customs and tax - to be honest i just don't. You would need to give US customs a call.

Hope that helps.

actually let me reply again to your shipping cost - the price i gave £43 - when i called about that it was for a guy on ebay from NJ - where in the states are from - i need to call and give them a zip code so i could get a more exact price. sorry about the confusion it is late here.

tanx to JeffR, I got one of them irridescent finishes, the cool thing is that it can be worn out and well used, and still look dead mint until you are literally less than a foot away.
