Here's nice one...

1995 Taylor GAWS. limited edition (#143 of 150 I think) Stunning Walnut/Spruce with 900 series inlay and special trim. If you've played a recent upper level taylor, most are nice, but these eariler guitars are in another league. This example is in collector/investment condition <_< and is a joy to play. Currently set up with 012 Elixirs and silly low action, it is a perfect acoustic for guys who mostly play electric (like me). Great dynamics and responds well to finger style/light touch and moderate strumming. If you like 013's extra heavy picks and sawdust producing windmill strumming styles, this ain't the one for you...

Great neck angle and saddle height. Tasty ebony finger board, cool teal accent band in the muli-layer binding. Includes fancy taylor case and paperwork. $1750.00 not cheap but this is a special guitar.

Here's couple quick pix, (the flash makes the binding pop, it's not that bright in person) NOTHING in the background is included, and the old barnwood floor is not for sale

Thanks!

Mark.

Beautiful guitar! The necks on the 90's Taylors are a bit thinner than what they carve today, and an absolute breeze to play. One piece Mahogany necks (Pre-NT fingerjoint). The Grand Auditorium model was introduced only the previous year for their 20th anniversary (1994), and were an immediate success. I also think they were just transitioning over to UV cured finish around this time -- Very durable and very thin for maximum response. I'll bet she's opened up beautifully!

Btw, the fretboard and torch headstock inlay are from the Koa series. 900's in '95 had the Cindy inlay (flower/vine/hummingbird).

Sorry -- My Taylor fetish is showing...

Looking for any trades, or $$$ only?

Not really looking for trades, I'm trying to sell off a few things to help fund a 4 wheeled toy <_<.

It is spring after all, and us X-racers get all itchy and goofy when the cool stuff starts coming out of the garages.

Thanks, Mark

Of course, I'm always lookin' for a celestial Cali....

Anyone interested? :D

My car deal fell through so I might just stick this one back under the bed.

Thanks,

Mark

Put it up on the acoustic guitar forum.

Thanks Dave,

You are probably right, but I don't have an account there and I hate those nube 1st post for sale deals.

Besides most of the HFC regulars know me... and if someone here buys it I may have a better chance of getting it back someday.... :o

Mark.

(PS: could do a cool package deal on this and my marble Cali?)
