bubs_42
I don't know but it is the one from ebay a while back. I saved the Serial # for Reference.... It was up for $1000. BIN then as well with no bidders.
SteveB
Looks like it to me. Garland, TX is a Dallas suburb so it would make sense.
intelligentpony
quote from the auction: "This is the first Sunburst that I have seen that has a 1 piece Honduran Mahogeny neck and a 1 piece maple top." 1 piece neck? I'm seeing three pieces. 1 piece top, not gonna even go there.

Hamerica
Hmmmm...I did not see the one at the DGS but I used to own this guitar a couple of years ago. I traded it for a Special from an fellow HFCer. Batman set up the guitar and is pretty familar with it. It does have a three piece neck, if I recall correctly. The break was professionally repair prior to my purchase and I orginally got it from Ebay from a guy in CA I think. It went to Florida, then to AZ and how the hell did it end back up in Dallas?I do remember this particular break repair being sold. If I didn't want a Special that had the baseball bat neck, I would have kept it until at least this year. Hamerica
