FS: Great Hamer DuoTone Hybrid Guitar

Hi,

I've got too many guitars!!!! I want this one to be in a player hands who will use the daylights out of her. She's got the spruce top, Gibson 498B and Duncan '59N pups which really sound smooth. They are a great match. The acoustic tones are finely balanced against the magnetics and mix well. If you are interested please PM me.

This Hamer has dings all over the top that are visable under bright lights with a close inspection. There is some light buckle rash on the back. The top edge of the neck has some finish knocked off. This is a player guitar, not a collector guitar. All of these issues are cosmetic only. This is a great playing guitar and sounds really good. Comes in it's original hardshell case. Yes, I think they show that the areas are very minimal, I hardly notice them. The guitar sounds just fantastic. I hope you all will listen to the sound clips. They will show what a versatile guitar this is.

Oh, as I was cleaning it up this afternoon I noticed that the mahogany body is one piece - I think that's a rare thing for Hamers. Correct me if I'm wrong.

1 piece mahogany is the rule for Hamer, don't know of any 2 piece M bodies.

Ditto what Arnie said - only on some Standards and maybe the odd B-12A, but it seems to be the rare exception instead of the rule.

I stand corrected, thanks for the input. On my other Hamers, it's hard to tell. I think that really enhances and tightens the focus of guitar's tone.

I'm bringing this one out again for consideration. It's a great guitar that doesn't get played in my current band setup. If your looking to carry one guitar to a gig instead of lugging two then this guitar is for you. It's the best of both types!
