For Sale: Monaco Elite with Aftermarket Pickguard

I am going to go ahead and sell it afterall though I guess I don't expect to get as much as I paid for it at this point. I would sell it to a HFC member for $1300 including UPS Ground shipping. This is a cool guitar for certain and I wish I could keep it but, I really need the money at this point and it is between this and my acoustic which I use weekly for church. I appreciate you gentlemen taking the time to consider it.

I would definitely have to agree with you. It is pretty without it on there. Anyone have a Monaco like this that could suggest some better pickups? I don't like the phat cat at all, way too honky for my needs and the Custom Custom doesn't seem to have the girth that I want on it or the definition. I still haven't gotten any bids on it on ebay and it is amazing guitar for $1100 and I am worried it would go for that and I would lose $300. Oh well what can I do...

I do have a Monaco and I went with WCR Goodwoods. Pricey but they made a huge difference. The custom custom seems like a really mid range focused pickup to me and the WCR are so much fuller and richer, it's pretty amazing.

If I were going to stay with Duncans, I'd probably suggest Seth Lovers.

Yes I am Poe and then I think you sold it to Mitch in NY from there.

Thanks I think you are absolutely right on the Duncan Custom Custom. This guitar is nowhere near as open and transparent as I was hoping for when I bought it. I think some Seth lovers or other similar PAF style could open it up well.
