santellavision Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 DEAL FELL THROUGH. Still For Sale: Super nice, hand-built Relic Esquire/Tele. All Nitro, see-through Blond, Aged tinted, Maple/Rosewood neck (with rolled, played-in feeling fretboard edges) And a relic'd off-white guard. GR Guitars (Gregg Rodgers Guitars) body & neck. Greg builds super guitars, just as nice as a Nash I've owned. In fact, I sold the Nash and kept this because it played better! I'm the original owner. I've had it for about 5 years. It's only been kept in my non-smoking home. Setup with nice low action. Plays/sounds like a great Tele should. No fret wear. A Lollar Special bridge P/U and signed Seymour Duncan Antiquity neck P/U. RSGuitarworks electronics. Plenty of spank & bite. Growls nicely when cranked with the Lollar Special. Almost closer to a P-90 than a normal Tele bridge p/u. Neck is Medium with a soft V shape. Not a baseball bat like the old ones, but plenty of meat and sustain. Super-tight neck pocket. Weight is 8.06lbs. Built with all the best parts available. Accurately relic'd GRGuitars parts (all parts relic'd, except the 3 strap buttons - 'ala Tom Anderson style) Brass compensated saddles. I also put an authentic Fender Esquire decal on the headstock when I got it, but have since added the neck p/u, so it's really a Tele now. I'll also include the original Esquire single-ply aged pickguard. I'm just not enjoying my Tele's and Strats much these days. (I've only been playing my Duotone and PRS Grissom in my band) Comes with a hard-shell case too. PM or email me for any more info. [email protected] $700. Shipped and PayPal'd. srvwannab Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Pretty Tele! You'd be hard pressed to buy the parts and put one together for that price when you consider the time spent shooting the Nitro.I'm sorry I'm not in the market!
santellavision Posted July 7, 2008 Author Posted July 7, 2008 Brian,Thanks for the Cab offer, but not at the moment. I would consider a nice 18watt head in trade - anyone?
santellavision Posted July 7, 2008 Author Posted July 7, 2008 Here's a pic of the Tele with the Esquire guard if your interested.
