My Marshall JTM 30 failed quite some time ago. The JTM 30 and the JTM 60 had the same brilliant and fatal design flaw. (2) 6L6 tubes positioned horizontally underneath the printed circuit pre-amp board. EUREKA! Blackened PCboard. The xfmrs seem to have survived. I was told by a few amp mechanics its unfixable/not worth fixing. I began using the remaining unit as an extension cab. In order to make it a touch more luggable I stripped some of the electronics out, most notably these 2 xfmrs.

If you own a working JTM 30 or 60 its probably not a bad idea to have a spare xfmr around. If you blow up one the xfmrs its highly unlikely that you'll find another one. Or if you are working on that special project for the wife, this might just be the missing piece in the puzzle. (huh?)

$25 each + actual postage.

Thanks folks

I liked it too. In my case one of the PC boards cooked, no replacements available. I still like the look of the cabs, I had a 312 and a c12 ext cab. I use the c12 under a new 2061x and the dead combo as an ext cab. Stick a cable in the input and run it around back not plugged into anything and you can have some fun with people by telling them you are daisy chaining amps. Just like Hendrix did.

More power baby!!!
