FS: 1958 Fender Princeton amp

Hi gang,

Up for grabs today is my 1958 fender Princeton. A great sounding little home or recording amp! Sounds like instant Aerosmith :P Actually pretty loud for 5 watts (or something like that). These are pretty much the same as tweed champs with a added tone control in a tweed deluxe size cabinet. So, you get all the stuff tweed champs are known for plus a little extra tone shaping and the bigger cabinet which helps it sound bigger than a champ.

Here's the nitty-gritty on this one... She's all original EXCEPT the following:

Replaced speaker (nice 8" weber)

Replaced line cord (3prong-safety first!)

Replaced 2 caps

That's it, everything else is all original.

One other issue.... at some point in life someone mounted a pedal or something to the side. There are 2 small 1/4" holes and 4 tiny screw holes on one side of the cabinet. Whatever was there was not on for long since there is not a noticable outline fade in the tweed. Honestly, when I bought this from a friend of mine I didn't even notice it until the next day. This is probably a deal killer for a collector of perfect examples but, it will save you a bunch of cash if you can live with it.

I paid 875.00 for this and that's what I'll take for it. add 30.00 ups ground in the cont.US and paypal fees if you want to use that. Without the holes this is probably more like a 1200.00 amp.

Not really looking for any trades except maybe 70's Hamers :P

Here's a couple pix, I have more.

Thanks!

Mark.

Great price on that amp. I've seen narrow-panel Princetons in that condition listed for $400 more than that. If I didn't have the world's mintiest 1959 Princeton, I'd be buying this.
