bobbymack Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 OK, clearing out some nice stuff to make room for some really nice stuff... First up is an EXC+ Kingsley Deluxe 50, the big brother to Simon's Deluxe 30 that put him on the map (which I also own and am keepng). This amp is 50 watts, and can be quite loud. Runs 6L6s or EL34s, 6L6s in at the moment...beautiful cleans, great roaring overdrive, search TGP for Kingsley reviews and you'll get the idea. Top notch design, construction, and tone. Comes with Kingsley padded cover and Kingsley adjustable Boost footswitch. $SOLD PENDING PATMENT http://www.kingsleyamplifiers.com/deluxe_s...50_and_100.html Germino Masonette #63 in a new small Marshall head box, red tolex. 2 6V6s. Looks and sounds killer. $SOLD Fuchs modded Traynor YBA-2B, runs 2 6V6s at about 25 watts. This amp was modded pre SLX, sounds great, has footswitchable mid boost and reverb. $SOLD Finally, a real clean '66 Princeton Reverb...all components are dated '66, latest one is 48th week of '66 but tube chart is stamped April of '67 so I suppose it might have come out in early '67, who knows. Sounds just great, no issues, gone over within the past year by Al Forbes at alpha light & sound. All original except for power tubes, 3 prong cord, and a new bias cap. Mullard rectifier tube, telefunken and RCA preamp tubes all test as new. Original footswitch and vinyl cover also included. This is very close to an "uncle's bedroom closet" type amp, very clean. Original Chicago Jensen speaker, sounds ok but low end farts out as they all did so I will include a mint Weber 10F150T too. $SOLD Paypal or Money Order please, tons of references here and elsewhere. Shipping to lower 48 will be by Insured Fedex Ground from NC 28270, plese provide zip code for a quote.
DavidE Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I've purchased a ton of gear from Bob. All great stuff and he's a pleasure to deal with. In fact, yet another piece of gear is being delivered from Bob on Wednesday.I can't believe you're selling that Princeton Reverb. My '65 is probably the last amp I'd move.
Guest pirateflynn Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Those Masonettes are a great way to get non master volume Marshall tone at medium volumes.
JGale Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Bobby got the Fuchs from me. I sold it to him to pay for a London Power Aurora (I'm still waiting... ). [Edited 'cuz I dinit read the above carefully...] Oh, and the Bobbymack is the Mackdaddy when it comes to Internet sales. Deal with confidence.
DavidE Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Bobby is my gear pusher. Payment scheduled for the Fuchs.I hate you Bobby.I love you Bobby.Oh gawd..... make it stop.

bobbymack Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 Princeton is sold, thanks Kevin. Will accept a reasonable offer on the Kingsley Deluxe 50. It is an ultra flexible, great sounding amp both clean and overdriven. Read the reviews, do a TGP search. My Deluxe 30 has been my #1 since May 2005...this one sounds every bit as good, perhaps better overdriven, but the half power on the D30 works really well for most of my gigs. The D50 is ALOT of amp, and what Simon often gigs with personally.http://www.kingsleyamplifiers.com/deluxe_s...50_and_100.html
