atquinn Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Hey, guys I'm looking for neck and bridge P90's for my new McInturff. Not looking for anything particular; I like all the Seymour Duncan P90's I've tried, but would open to other name-brand type stuff (Dimarzio, Fralin, Lollar, etc...) as well. I'm just looking to get some P90's in there as a starting point. I'll play 'em a while and then see where I want to go from there if they're not hitting the spot. Thanks for looking.-Austin
Hamer of the gods Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I have a set that came out of my P-90 Studio Goldtop, they were the stock pu's I believe they are Duncans. $100???

I know Terry had some humbucker P90's and some real P90's and these are the humbucking ones. Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll take HotG up on his offer since those are what was in my Special and take it from there.-Austin
HamerHokie Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Are those DiMarzios in there now? Virtual P-90s? Or what?
atquinn Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 They are Dimarzios, but they were custom made to Terry's specs and I'm not sure exactly what those specs are. They actually sound pretty much like P90's to me, but it's been a few months since I've played P90's, so my memory could be off. Anyway, I don't believe Terry uses them anymore, instead he uses regular P90's.-Austin
