EMG SA SET White Single Coils

I just purchased this EMG SA set from Samedaymusic.com last week. They arrived and I installed them but they were instantly not my cup of tea. Neither are any single coils I am finding, going to have to route the strat for humbuckers soon. Anyway I figured I would offer the set up here, since you cant return pickups at all to samedaymusic. So here is the set basically brand new condition but with a little solder on the leads. I didnt cut the leads at all they are factory spec. 159 Shipped, they sell for 208 normally. Can the covers be changed to black on EMG's?

Nope, you're stuck with the color.

At the risk of suggesting you throw good money after bad, the EMG "Fat" control does a good job of shifting the basic resonance of those from single-coil territory down to humbucker-land. They're fairly easy to retrofit into an existing SA system, and the controls become master volume, master tone and fat control.

Just a thought....
