atquinn Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I literally just got this off eBay, but I like my GT10 more and this is a bit too big for a take-anywhere sort of tool. It's in excellent condition and includes the manual. For info on these, check out this webpage:http://www.rocktron.com/site/products/floo...g100/index.htmlI'm looking for $130 shipped or maybe a trade for a pocketpod or something like that. Thanks for looking.-Austin
DavidE Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 "When was the last time you plugged into Pop’s old guitar amplifier? Most likely, never. So why buy a processor that promises you the sounds of old amps and cabinets? "Wow... that's some interesting marketing!!! An interesting twist... the "next generation" of sound. The clips are cool. The pocketpod is cool, but doesn't sound all that good. Ok for headphone practice and a travel practice rig. I keep mine with my Speedster Travel Guitar.

That's basically what Yamaha's marketing angle was with the DG Stomp many moons ago I appreciate the simplicity of just having a few virtual amps instead of throwing in 200 amp models of amps I've never heard of, but this thing is too big for my intended use. I basically just need something to kick around the house when I don't feel like being tied to my GT10. I was thinking about maybe getting one of Line6's toneport things since I'll probably be using it with my laptop anyway, but having something that's standalone and battery-powered will give me more options. - Austin
unfun75 Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Austin, Have you considered a Roland Micro Cube? Runs off AC adapter or batteries.
