Mega-Rare Washburn SS 100

Those who know me, know I absolutely love my 1993 Washburn SS 80 guitar I ordered from the factory Custom Shop back then. Courtesy of Washburn forum, which is usually dead, I found this un-sold special order maple quilt topped, birdseye maple cap neck Washburn Steve Stevens SS100 guitar.

Anyone who has played a US spec SS Washburn will tell you how awesome the oil finished neck feels in profile and playability. It still is fondly remembered by Steve as well.

To me this is like having one of the first issued Hamer Standards, or a Charvel Pre-Pro, ect.

To me I rate these dinky bodied Strats as one of my fav metal type guitars..ever!!

This has the early spec double adjustable truss rod too, as used on the EB MM EVH guitars, which Steve started using on tour with VH in 1993 after becoming divorced from Washbirn after an extremely short marriage.

Remember I'm the guy who asked Jol about what happened with Steve Stevens.. !!

Hope you like this, wish I could buy her, but I don't get GAS very often..if ever, but wow.

The angled JB's have a great edge to them and the spec for the SS Washburns was a combo of Steves's SS-3 Hamer bolt ons, plus a copy of his Glow Charvel, especially in the necks.

It's the auction link. Anything that is has to do with a Sale, gets move here. I have never seen one like that. The local shop when I moved to Peoria had three of the black ones and they have great necks and play very good. Cool for sure.
