Aceldama Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Why couldn't you be asking for matched sets (2)? I have some spare GE 6l6 that were NOS. I sold the amps that they were back-ups to. To be honest, I am not sure if these were the matched quad from my Twin Reverb, or matched sets from the Bassman and Vibrolux...
Jimbilly Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I bought a set of 12 Sovtek 5881s (Sovtek, 6L6GC equivalent) from this guy recently for $142 (paypal, shipped), I think he's around $50 shipped for matched quads. He buys bulk and matches himself, so the tubes don't have a label on them, but they do come boxed and with the matching numbers printed on the boxes.
