for all of you always looking for low wattage low dollar tube amp combos hear this..........your search is over, just bought a new eminence ragin cajun from an online dealer and installed it in my fender super champ xd, holy shiznit batman!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a combo, the stock speaker in the fender is such utter crap, i normally bypass it and run the amp straight into my mesa recto 2x12 cab with v30's and it roars but lately we've been doing smaller and more laidback gigs and was getting tired of lugging around the mesa cab, the ragin cajun has rectified that problem(no pun intended) in spades, more volume, nice low end(the stock speaker had zero low end)and crispy but not ice picky highs, i can't wait to hear it when it's broken in, to sum up for about $350. us dollars you can buy the amp and speaker and you have the perfect bedroom amp or small gig amp, really any gig amp as long as you mike it for large venues, easily gets over a loud drummer though with the eminence upgrade, i also recommend upgrading the tubes(one 12ax7 and two 6v6's), i couldn't be happier, just wanted to pass that on, be cool dudes....................

i'm in a hard rockin country band, we twang at times and we rock heavy at times, the super champ has 16 amp models, personally i only use one which is a slightly overdriven blackface model and then add a tubescreamer and compressor for leads and heavier sounds, i have tried some of the heavier models that are fashioned after boogies and marshalls and a few really smoke,i don't like the effects except for the large venue reverb but i have a nice delay pedal i use with it anyway, for the money this amp can't be beat.................
