nosajwp Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 I'm looking for original Queensryche tab/music books (Hal Leonard, etc) for the following albums:***Mindcrime***EmpireRage For Order (if available)The Warning (if available)EP (if available)Tribe (if available)I'm tired of trying to figure out other people's tabs online...I want to get the right music for a change. If you have these and wouldn't mind letting them go, name your price!
Michael_ Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 If you haven't tried powertabs, they're definetly worth a shot, and usually very accurate. Easier to learn than paper, too.Just a suggestion I guess.
nosajwp Posted July 14, 2005 Author Posted July 14, 2005 Is that a website or something? Never heard of it.
Michael_ Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 It's a program that you can download, then you download and run powertab song files; it can even play them back for you in MIDI. A quick search on powertabs.net revealed a wealth of highly rated Queensrhyche tabs. You can download the software from www.power-tab.net, its a free, small file, and theres no spyware involved. Several other people on the HFC use it and reccomend it also.Hopefully that will help!
nosajwp Posted July 14, 2005 Author Posted July 14, 2005 I will check that out. Thanks! I'd still like to have a Mindcrime/Empire book if anyone has one they want to part with.
silentman Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Check with morningstar... Tom is a Queensryche source for tab. He can let you know where the good ones are... send him and email or PM.
Jason01 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Just a warning, the Mindcrime tab book is the most innacurate tab book I've ever run across. Missing notes, wrong notes, just a real mess. Whoever did the transcribing or the editing did a horrible job. Plus its "selections" from mindcrime so you don't get the whole album. The empire and mindcrime tab books I have are both warner brothers publications. Might wanna try them and see if they've got any left around. The empire book has tiny tab that you need to sit way too damn close to the book to read while you're playing but at least they've got the right notes in there. Ok, rant off- if you can't find anyone else with the books let me know and I'll make photocopies for you.
