Strange Floyd Rose problem

Ok, I just got a Scepter with a Floyd. I don't really use trems anymore, but I used to many years ago & thought it would be fun to have another. I played it for an hour or so when I first got it & the Floyd seemed to work fine & stay in tune. I did some minor setup on it & now when I press the tremelo down, the 3rd string (only) goes up almost a half step in pitch. I can yank up on the bar & it almost returns to pitch. Any ideas?

By the way, does anyone have a mid 80's black Slammer pickup for sale?

Also, I'd like an original chrome Floyd (or Hamer branded Floyd) in good condition for it. There's a black on one there now.

Some clarification is needed here. When you press the bar down, instead of all the strings lowering in pitch, only the 3rd string changes pitch, but it goes up? Or are you saying that all the strings decrease in pitch, but when you return to zero position the 3rd string is now sharp by 1/2 step. If the 2nd description is what is happening, it sounds like you have an issue with the locknut. Are you sure the clamps are rotated so that they are in the correct position?

I rearranged the nut clamps & it's fixed! I played Floyds for years & never had this problem, anyway it's FIXED now!
