Monaco Superpro Knob Function

Subject: 2008 Monaco Superpro

Dear Abbey,

I've been a Strat/Tele guy so her goes my ignorance. The knobs are 2 vol / 1 tone. Question: am I supposed to have both volume controls active in the middle position? This seems logical so that I could set the individual volumes for more tone options.

You and your Superpro should spend more quality tiime together and try to learn more about each other. If this doesn't work, perhaps the 2 of you should go to counseling together. Something may have happened in the past that you're not aware of and delving deeper may provide the answers you need. Your mate may not be acting in a normal fashion as a result of this.

The middle position should give you independent volume conrtol of each pickup both active with the toggle n the middle position. Perhaps the wiring has been changed or custom ordered differently. The only other possibility is the elctronics are malfunctioning some how.

Keep in mind that, with the switch in the middle position, turning either volume pot all the way down will kill the output of the whole guitar.

That's what confused me. When I killed the volume on both, I thought there was a problem. Thank you soooooo much.
