miragejake Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 335 style guitar, two Tokai Mark IV HB pickups, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard very clear, near to brown, nice frets, nice bridge and tailpiece. Korean made in 2006. The Korean ones are very well made 335 copies, this is not one of the cheap Chinese versions. It's a very beaultiful guitar, and very well made. The headstock is an accurate copy of this era Gibby.. very nice with the Kluson style machines. Comes w/ nice TKL hardshell case. I just had it professionally setup, and had a vintage bone nut installed, and it has Schaller strap locks. The guitar plays effortlessly, and sounds great. This is a super bang for your buck 335. Only reason I'm selling is b/c I've got a Hamer Newport that covers this. I'd be open to trades of equal value, or I could add in cash for the right guitar. Trades: probably looking for a solid body w/ humbuckers, but could be interested in tele's and strat's too...specifics: les paul types are my first choice, and Hamer's especially...a studio, fm special, monaco, any hamer with humbucker's basically...Edwards also, I'd love to have just about any model Les Paul of theirs...and again, on these I'd be willing to add some cash. **On the trades, really I'm MOSTLY LOOKING FOR ANOTHER HAMER--of anytype just about... $600 shipped is the price. USPS money order or Paypal.
miragejake Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 oops, somehow i posted twice...how do i delete?
miragejake Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 bump: Check the Clip! You can hear a clip of this guitar in action at my band's myspace page: www.myspace.com/grannysgin**Check the first song--"She's No Lady". That's this guitar played through a '73 Twin which has been modded to run 4-6V6's. Pretty basic setup: recorded w/ a SM57. On the rhythm parts it's just guitar/amp/ & Tonefactor Anologue Filter. On the lead part it's guitar/amp/Zendrive/Teese Wiz wah. --Forgive the recording, it was a one take deal, and our drummer dropped his sticks
miragejake Posted November 1, 2009 Author Posted November 1, 2009 bump for now...had a deal, it's uncertain now. pm me w/ you offer.
miragejake Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 bump. got a cash offer i'm contemplating. but still up for grabs at the moment.
miragejake Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 The neck is not as fat as my Newport w Hamer's vintage carve...but not as thin as a 60's gibby...My buyer was supposed to send payment by 5pm eastern...nothing yet though...so first taker gets a nice 335.
Hamer of the gods Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Nice! I've heard Matt Schofield playing one of these, it sounded great. What is the neck profile like?
miragejake Posted November 14, 2009 Author Posted November 14, 2009 The neck is not as fat as my Newport w Hamer's vintage carve...but not as thin as a 60's gibby...it's a nice feeling/playing neck.
miragejake Posted November 16, 2009 Author Posted November 16, 2009 bump. willing to accept cash offers. would also consider cash plus pedal offers if you've got either a boomerang, rotosphere, or a tim.
miragejake Posted November 18, 2009 Author Posted November 18, 2009 Bump again. I've never seen such...4 trade deals have now fell through on this. WTF----I'm willing to negotiate a bit on cash price....as there are a couple axes I'm interested in. PM me.
