backinit Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I have a beater Epi stock everything that I need to change what I feel is a bad volume pot. Because the iron will be hot anyway, anything else I can do to make the pickups breath alittle better. I'm going with a 500k I think3

You can upgrade your whole wiring kit - RS Guitarworks and BCR Greg will sell you what you need.Spend a couple of bucks and upgrade your capacitors - get one with a .01 mF value. Les Pauls are typically found with .02 mF. By habit, I've gotten the Hovland Musicaps and they work really well for me.
