BrianM Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Nostalgia and a long shot, I know.Just curious if anyone knows the whereabouts of a 1984 Hamer Vector, red finish over a flame top that was modified with a Kahler trem (bad decision, I know). The guitar might be familiar (or recognizable) as it had a black plastic pickguard material that sat under or around the kahler to hide the earlier routes (for the Kahler? or the original Hamer bridge setup). I'll see if I can dig up any pics or serial # later tonight.
Lockbody Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Red eighties Vectors with pointy headstocks RAWK! Good luck with the hunt. Some pr0n to whet your appetite. Factory Kahler on this one.
BrianM Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 Very nice indeed. Mine was not the pointy headstock variety and I think I remember more vol/tone knobs (but my memory is questionable on that). I recall selling my guitar to a person in the Baltimore area at that time.
