Cabinet Wiring Question

So i'm slightly retarted, but the Schematics show me how make a 4x12 loading with 16ohms speakers 4ohms. But I want to be sure I'm doing this right. I just run white/black to the first speaker, then from #1 to #2 and #2 to #3 then #3 to #4 then back to the jack?

Any way to make it 8ohms?

Unless you only wire up two speakers, you can't do 8 ohms.
