I'd be lying if I said this bass isn't calling to me.

I'm curious about the "passive" EMGs though. I didn't know there were such animals that weren't labeled "Select."

Turns out the 9v in the back leads me to believe they're NOT passive Chris. (Just edited "their" to "they're").

Killer Deal. If I wouldn't have gotten the Craigslist Bass I would have bought this one.

Thanks for the plug. BTW, be sure to post pics when you get the Craigslist Bass. I didn't say who I held it for a couple of days. I figured you should have the fun of showing and telling everyone about the CL bass.

There was a couple of HFC'ers behind the scenes scrambling for that bass. We all worked together instead of against each other to bring it into the fold.

Still sorely lacking in specifics. DMK, LI.

Oh, and wifey just called. Her laptop has gone tits up, and she needs a new one before the start of school on Wednesday. So, no new used bass for Chris!

Can someone remind me why I got married?

There's another thread on the Craigslist bass. Flametop and boomers.

Laura:

What does the bass weigh? No, seriously.

Hey David,

I seem to remember it being between 7 and 8 lbs. I will weigh it again Sunday. I gotta get to my sound check for tonight and tomorrow I am out early for a party gig in the Hamptons, then another party as a guest. So, Sunday will the next chance I get to double check it. BTW, no I won't take three fiddy for it. :D

Under 8 lbs would really make me think. No tree fiddy? Hurumph! ;-) I'm off to a gig, got a bass gig tomorrow and won't be around until Sunday evening, so shoot me and email and I'll get it on my phone Sunday.

Thanks!

So bubs42 bought the CL bass with the boomers. David E went for the thinner neck of the Cruise. Which one of you guys is going to buy this thing? MCChris, you gonna let your wife stop you from buying this beautiful Chap bass???
