A year ago or so I bought a 100pcs box from Ace hardware for a few bucks, -got it right here, (tag on my box says $4.24): Midwest Fastener '05211' 4 x 1/2 Phillips Oval Sheet Metal Screws (stainless). I showed them to my Fender expert friend, -he's really big on details, he says these are right for Fender.
