luis Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I got some Dimarzio branded pots starting with 174 code I guess being Hamer replacements. What´s your opinion about them? Are they ruggerized and with a "better" taper than regular CTS?
yngwie308 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 In my extensive research of the Washburn Steve Stevens Signature guitars, all those built for Steve personally had 500K DiMarzio pots fitted especially and SS confirmed this to me last October.http://www.vintagewashburn.com/Electrics/SteveStevens3.htmlyngwie308
Armitage Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 You do realize the amount of compression, gain and distortion completely changes a pots taper "feeling". What works for a guy clean is terrible for a guy going into a compressor or a distorted amp.
