I love Dropkick Murphies, I got into them when I was in high school right around the time they put out Sing Loud Sing Proud. I saw them once at Warped Tour and wanted to watch them in the subsequent years but I always end up missing them for some reason.

I know my brother is going, and taking his 14 year old son, who's a singer in a Jr. high band. I know nothing about this band, so I bowed out. I'm visiting First Ave. frequently these days.

Let me know if you decide to go. I'd be up for a pre-show drink, or be willing to host a mini-jam at the 4-3-2-1 before the show. I'm always ready to meet yet another HFC'er. I'm only 15 minutes, door-to-door, from First Ave. And if you're up for it, you can park nearby and take the train downtown. The last stop is 2 blocks from First Ave, and a train ride is only $1.50.
