Vin496 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 After getting my 1st Hamer Studio Custom a few months ago, I have been wanting another one, so the other day I go internet shopping and found one I liked. I wanted to try a regular mahogany/rosewood, so I got this one(I liked the bound headstock). Got it yesterday, what can I say it just proved what I already new, that Hamers are some of the finest manufactured guitars you can get. My 1st Hamer was a comple custom job, which came with a 59n/custom custom bridge, but man am I digging the 59/59 combo. So I present #554006(59 Flame) and her sister #553999(Quilt)
silentman Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 That quilt is stunning. You are on your way to owning some more me thinks.
Vin496 Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 Yeah the quilt/korina really is something special. I love the way it came out. Great how different lighting can really make a guitar "Pop out" on the screen.
silentman Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Korina-backed, eh? Nice. I've got a Standard Custom made of korina with a crazy top:
Vin496 Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 Yep, Korina Backed. I love that Standard.
iownit4 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Why spend all that money Buy a plain top and refinish it yourselfhttp://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/iownit4/ebc8792a.jpghttp://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/iownit4/f222530c.jpg
