Wiring 2 H/Bs to 1 Vol with push/pull coil split?

Looked everywhere. Can find nothing. I am an electrical novice. I have a Cali with push/pull coil tap on 1 volume (no tone). Using single-coil HB in the neck & full HB in the bridge. Both 4-way wiring but nothing fancy. There's a 3 way toggle (8 solder pins).

Help much appreciated...

If that is the Artec pup, think your wiring is correct. If you have an ohmmeter, check from green to black - it should be about 2x the resistance from green to red/white and black to red/white.

Other than that, if it's humming, you may have a ground loop. Make sure everything is grounded together:

• sleeve of output jack
  
• bridge (trem claw)
  
• vol pot
  
• ground leg of each pup
  
• switch

I think it's the pup I installed - only 1 blade works (it's brand new but must be a dodgy one). The guy sent me a new one so I'll install that. When I get the switch(es) from STEWMAC, I'll install one of those & I'll change the vol pot. I'll take one of those Alpha's if the offer is still on. I'll PM you...
